is Citrus burn worth the hype?
There is a chance the hype is too much, but perhaps there is a reason for the hype.
I didn’t notice it all at once.
It was gradual.
At first, I just thought I was having an “off week.” I’d eat a bit cleaner, try to be more consistent… and nothing would really change.
But then weeks turned into months.
And that’s when it got frustrating. Because I wasn’t doing anything crazy. Same meals I used to eat. Same workouts I’d always done.
But the results just… weren’t there anymore. I remember thinking: “Maybe I just need to try harder. “So, I did. Less food. More cardio. More discipline. And somehow, that made it worse.
I felt more tired. More stuck. And honestly, a bit confused. That’s when I started looking into it properly. Not quick fixes, just trying to understand what was actually going on. And one thing kept coming up, after a certain point, your body doesn’t respond the same way it used to.
Not dramatically.
But enough that the old approach stops working like it did before. It’s less about doing more…And more about how your body is processing energy.
How it stores it. How it uses it. Things you don’t really think about, until they stop working in your favour. I didn’t overhaul everything. I just started experimenting with small changes. One of them was something I kept seeing mentioned around natural compounds, especially ones found in citrus. I wasn’t expecting much. But over time, things started to feel… more consistent again. Not fast. Not dramatic. Just less of that “stuck” feeling. That’s when it clicked for me. It wasn’t about pushing harder. It was about working with my body again. If you’ve felt that same shift, where what used to work just doesn’t anymore, you’re probably not imagining it.
I’ll leave what I found out here if you want to see it for yourself.
